APPLYING THE DECALS:

REMOVING THE DECALS:

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Some packs are different for each side of the bicycle, such as multicolor packs.

If the left side (L) and the right side (R) are different, this will be indicated on the bags:

The right side (R) is the chain side. 

If your pack has no R and L indicators, it means it doesn't matter which side you put them on.

Multicolor packs have an indicator for each side. The aim is for the colors to match letter by letter, from top to bottom. Keep in mind that the letters face different directions on each side, so the color for the same letter may vary from one side to the other:

Also, in multicolor packs, the front logo must match the color of the top letter:

The arrow ⬆️ indicates the orientation of the letter. 

Some letters look symmetrical, but they are not.

The numbers: 1, 2… indicate the order of application. Some decals look identical, but they are not:

The numbers may also indicate different sizes for the same design:

If you have a SCOTT SPARK , you must remove the lower shock cover before applying the decals.


CLEAN THE SURFACE: It must be clean and dry.

We recommend using soap and water. 

Some cleaners and degreasers leave residue on the bicycle surface that prevents the decals from sticking properly.


APPLY THE APPLICATION TAPE:

1. Remove the excess material inside (Bend slightly for easier removal). 


2. Cut out the letters you are going to apply with scissors.


3. Cut a piece of transfer paper.

It should be large enough to cover the letter completely, with enough extra to stretch and pull taut during application.


4. Apply the clear transfer paper over the letters. Work from one side to the other, letting the air escape to prevent bubbles.

You can use a plastic card to press them down so they adhere better.


5. The decals should stick to the transfer paper. If they don't, press again and carefully remove.

APPLY THE LETTERS:

The letters are oversized. If placed too close to the edge, they won't be centered and may overlap with other letters.

6. Position the letters, starting from the top.

Stretch the transfer paper and press down gradually with your finger.

Do not apply the letters all at once; press them down from top to bottom, allowing the air to escape. Otherwise, it will get trapped and create bubbles. *This step is shown in the instruction video. 

 

7. Slowly remove the clear transfer paper. 

Pull parallel to the surface; do not pull upward. You could lift the decals and create bubbles. 

 

8. If there are bubbles, you can put the transfer paper back in place and press with a card to remove the air.

 

 WAIT 24 HOURS for the decals to fully adhere before cleaning them with pressurized water or a cloth.


REMOVE THE DECALS:

APPLY HEAT TO THE DECALS USING A HAIR DRYER and remove the decals by hand.

CAUTION: Removing the decals without applying heat may damage the bicycle's paint.
